What feels hard in your life right now? What would it be like if things didn’t feel quite so hard?
No toxic positivity spiritual gaslighting here: we can acknowledge the harms of capitalism, colonialism, and white supremacy AND invite in more ease even amidst these harmful and oppressive structures
It is an essential ingredient to name these harmful structures and events as we hold the vision of liberation for all beings alongside an joyfull life filled with ease and glimmers. Depending on your life experiences and intersectional identities - leaning more into ease may feel harder or less safe in your body. It doesn’t mean you’re “bad” or doing anything “wrong”. It’s simply that hard is the familiar setting to your brain and thus what it deems to be “safe”
Capitalism tells us it has to feel hard to charge for it even if we’re in our “zone of genius”. And spiritual space holders get into it to help people and to honor their generous hearts. We do not need to sacrifice our well being on the altar of community improvement or “being nice” for everyone else. And that is perfectionism (a tool of white supremacy) in a spiritual outfit
You need financial stability and abundance to pay your bills - which is the bare minimum. You deserve to enjoy your work AND be abundantly compensated
