This week on Cozy Comfort Club, I’ve got a bonus episode because fall TV is officially here, and there is A LOT coming to PBS Masterpiece, BritBox, and Acorn TV!
I went through the fall lineups and pulled out the shows I think are most worth having on your radar, from returning Cozy Comfort Club favorites to brand-new mysteries, comfort watches, literary dramas, and a few decidedly not-so-cozy crime shows.
We’re talking The Marlow Murder Club Season 3, Ludwig Season 2, Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence, Cooper & Fry, Death Valley Season 2, Signora Volpe Season 3, Blue Murder Motel, Marble Hall Murders and more.
And because Cozy Comfort Club is not just about cozy mysteries, I’m also making room for comfort TV, literary adaptations, older shows worth discovering, and hopefully some new period dramas as more fall schedules are announced.
Of course, I also have a Not-So-Cozy Fall Watchlist for those of us who occasionally like our crime dramas with a little more stress.
This is Part 1 of my Fall 2026 TV Preview because Acorn TV has not released its complete October and November schedule yet. Once we know more, there may be plenty more to talk about!
In This Episode
We chat about:
* Why I’m VERY excited for The Marlow Murder Club Season 3
* Finally beginning my Susan Ryeland journey before Marble Hall Murders
* Whether I need to binge Maigret before Season 2 arrives
* The brand-new mystery Cooper & Fry
* Why Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence might be my wild card of the fall
* BritBox giving Agatha Christie fans plenty to watch this season
* My extremely reasonable level of excitement for Ludwig Season 2
* Sir David Suchet joining the upcoming Ludwig Christmas special
* The fact that Ludwig Season 3 is already in production
* Why Death Valley Season 1 was such an easy, cozy binge
* Monarch of the Glen Seasons 1–3 arriving on BritBox just in time for fall
* What I’m enjoying about Blue Murder Motel
* Whether I’m really prepared to start seven seasons of The Sommerdahl Murders
* Signora Volpe returning for Season 3 on Acorn TV
* Why My Salinger Year caught my attention even though it isn’t a mystery
* My ongoing search for a gorgeous new period drama
* The darker shows going on my Not-So-Cozy Fall Watchlist
* Which fall premieres I’m most excited to watch and potentially cover on the podcast

Coming Next
More mysteries, period dramas, comfort watches, books, and plenty of character opinions are coming your way on Cozy Comfort Club.
And this fall preview may not be over yet!
Acorn TV has only revealed part of its fall schedule so far, so once we know what else is coming in October and November, I may be back with Fall Preview Part 2.
Especially if somebody finally gives me the period drama I’ve been asking for.
Until next time, stay cozy!
