Well, friends...I guess we DID need a Part 2!
Today on Cozy Comfort Club, we’re heading back into the fall TV schedule because PBS Masterpiece, BritBox, and Acorn TV have even more shows to add to our watchlists.
Acorn TV has officially embraced its “An Autumn to Die For” theme, bringing us everything from a 1930s murder mystery featuring famous Surrealist artists to folk horror, psychological thrillers, and a whole lineup of true crime.
We’re also catching up on a PBS Masterpiece drama I forgot to include in Part 1 (oops), and BritBox is giving us a little something different with countryside comfort TV, a literary period drama, and some comedy.
And yes, James Norton is involved, so obviously, I have opinions.
In This Episode
We chat about:
Acorn TV: An Autumn to Die For
* This Is Not a Murder Mystery – October 12
* The Red King – October 19
* Wolf – October 26
Acorn TV’s October True Crime Lineup
* The A-Z Killer – October 5
* The Flight Attendant Murders – October 12
* Wrongly Accused – October 19
* The Hunt for the Chameleon Killer – October 26

BritBox
* Celebrity Escape to the Country Season 2 – October 2 (U.S.)
* War & Peace – October 5
* Would I Lie to You? Season 19 – October 26
I also share which shows have caught my attention, which ones are firmly in my Not-So-Cozy category, and what I’m most interested in watching this fall.
And just to be clear, I don’t typically cover true crime on CCC, but I wanted to include those releases for anyone interested in Acorn’s full October lineup.
My Most Anticipated New Addition: This Is Not a Murder Mystery
Period Drama Pick: War & Peace (Hello, James Norton!)
Not-So-Cozy Radar: The Red King and Wolf
Where to Watch: PBS Masterpiece, BritBox & Acorn TV

Coming Next
More British TV, cozy mysteries, period dramas, literary adaptations, and plenty of character discussions. We’ll also be heading into our very first CCC Spooky Month in October!
One little heads-up: I was actually sick while recording this episode, so if I sound a little different, that’s why! I’m still recovering, which means our regularly scheduled Tuesday episode may be a little delayed. I’ll keep you all updated, and thank you for being patient with me!
Discussion About This Episode
What’s going on YOUR fall watchlist?
Are you excited about This Is Not a Murder Mystery? Will you be watching The Red King? Or are you joining me in celebrating the arrival of another period drama on BritBox?
And most importantly...who’s watching Wolf first so they can report back to the rest of us?
Come for murder, stay for tea.
