I interview Arjun Verma – world-known sitarist and composer and the son of Roop Verma. Roop Verma was known for his knowledge of Nada yoga and the influence of sound on consciousness, using north indian classical music for altered states, healing and deep relaxation. He's also done the music to the Experience Yoga Nidra relaxation with Swami Janakananda, where he shares the ancient musical symbols of the chakras.
Arjun Verma started playing sitar when he was five years old and learned from his father as well as the legendary Ali Akbar Khan. He has dedicated his whole life to master his craft and create music that can support others. Today he's performing around the world on both concerts and retreats and teaches north indian classical music.
