This time I interview Dorlöp Rinpoche – the buddhist from Malaysia who moved to USA, took a doctoral degree in buddhism and studied with tibetan teachers for many years. In 2013, he was appointed as a Vajra-master within the Drikung Kagyu tradition, trusted with transmitting the teaching to others. Today he teaches at buddhist centres in South America, online and abroad.
I met Dorlöp Rinpoche on his first visit to Stockholm where he held a public talk on how to transform adversities into a path of awakening.
In this episode we talk about:
The purpose of meditation
Developing deeper understanding
What is happiness
Being in charge of thoughts and feelings
Practicing compassion and love
Karma - the principle of cause and effect
The place from where wisdom arise
More information about Dorlöp Rinpoche here. Thank you the people at Ratnashri Meditation Center for making this happen, see future buddhism events and more information at Ratnashri Sweden.
