Following our first investigation into the mysterious death of a black bear found near Mule Creek North Trail outside Woodland Park, Colorado, Rocky Mountain Ranch Research met with the original witnesses and returned to the exact location.
We wanted to examine the scene for ourselves and look for evidence that could support or challenge the leading theories. Was there a tall tree nearby that had been struck by lightning? Were there burn marks, broken branches, or signs that the bear may have fallen or slid down a tree? Could the position of the body and surrounding terrain help explain what happened? In this follow-up episode, we share: • Our meeting with the original witnesses • On-location footage from the bear site • A close examination of nearby trees and terrain • Possible evidence related to the lightning theory • Drone footage and aerial photographs • The surprising proximity to Carl’s previous cattle mutilation site
We were shocked to discover that the bear was found less than one mile from the location where Rocky Mountain Ranch Research investigated Carl’s cattle mutilation cases. Those cows were found beneath telephone lines, raising even more questions about this unusual area. The proximity alone does not prove that the cases are connected, but it is an important detail worth documenting and examining.
