"The Halloween Ghost" is a short children's spooky story following Granny Spriggins, a bold old lady who ventures into a moonlit graveyard at the stroke of midnight on Halloween. Along the way she encounters a broomstick witch, a glowing ghost, and two grinning skeletons waiting at the church door. When she steps inside and discovers something deeply unsettling on the floor, the ghost outside delivers a chilling message that leaves her — and the reader — with a shiver and a question that lingers long after the night is over.
