After spending several days exploring Sapa, I put together everything I experienced into one complete journey. I took the overnight sleeper train, explored Sapa town, rode the cable car up Fansipan, trekked through the famous rice terraces, visited remote mountain villages, and spent the night with a local family.
Along the way, I experienced everyday village life, visited a local school, walked through bamboo forests, explored one of the wildest markets I found in Vietnam, and finished the trip aboard a VIP sleeper bus from Sapa to Ninh Binh.
Some experiences were incredible. Others were uncomfortable, exhausting, or completely unexpected. In this video, I'll show you what each experience was actually like and what I think is worth doing if you're planning your own trip to Sapa.
