Amy went live with me for the NGF live-a-thon & we went straight into the heaviest funeral she's had this year. She retired Align by Design, opened a 50/50 company with someone else in the industry, & then left it. Not because of one thing. Because of a pattern she'd been running everywhere: the second somebody else can't handle it, she takes over. At home, in the business, with the partner who kept dropping the ball & asking for grace. Her words: I need some fucking grace too.

The line she had to bury was "if there's an end date, it's not that bad." It was that bad. And the question she had to answer after was whether she was willing to be the villain in the story to talk about it honestly.

I've had the same partnership. I ignored the same flag. We get into why the women who do the biggest things are the ones who quietly overcompensate for everyone, why your biggest potential gets dimmed before you even say it out loud (because you already know who it'll upset), whether you can stay ambitious & love money while you're going through something heavy, & the identity most of us are not ready to kill .. being the one who does it all herself.

Amy is on the VIP day at Nice Girl Funeral.

She has a speaker code if you want in. A handful of VIP spaces remaining.
