Sabrina Greer wanted to be a writer her whole life. Pregnant with her third son, she got the publishing deal. Then the manuscript came back rewritten .. too dark, too dramatic, it called out an industry, here's our version. When she said no, she found out that signing the deal meant she no longer owned the rights to her own story. She self-published it anyway & sold about 18 copies.
She could have made that mean something about her. Instead it became Blended Publishing, her own trademarked modality & an author-centric house built so women keep their intellectual property & their actual voice. The books she publishes now are the ones other publishers shush: assault, addiction, disordered eating, the things that are most of our stories as women.
We get into why nice is a match for minimum wage, why people-pleasing is you being out of integrity (not kind), why at least half of any room will disagree with you once you're visible & that's the job, & my own version of this .. the pushback I got on NGF itself last year & how hard it was to get a single article published without it being watered down into nothing.
Sabrina is facilitating the VIP day at Nice Girl Funeral on the Friday. A tiny handful of VIP spots are left. GET YOUR TICKET NOW.
