Women Called Him Charming. Four Were Found Dead in Six Weeks

On September 29th, 1995, firefighters in Van Nuys, California, found a burning pickup truck with the body of a mother of three inside. Six weeks later, after a trail of deaths across four states, a Kentucky police officer spotted a stolen car and started a chase that ended on live television.
Glen Rogers, known as the Cross Country Killer, charmed women in bars and on the road. Fingerprints on a wallet and a motel room led investigators to him, and a 13-mile pursuit through Kentucky finally ended the manhunt.
This episode of The FBI Files traces the hunt from Van Nuys to I-75, the evidence that identified him, the claims he made after his arrest, and the families who waited nearly thirty years for justice.
