South Carolina's governor will appoint a temporary placeholder until a special primary election takes place in August.

Next, they react to an official photograph and statement released by Mitch McConnell’s office following his four-week hospitalization. He reportedly fell in his home and was briefly unconscious before catching a mild case of pneumonia. Despite the picture of him with a newspaper, conspiracies and suspicion still run rampant online.

Then, Jim and Greg turn to Rep. Ro Khanna’s trip to the West Bank. Khanna claims he was detained by the IDF during a confrontation with local settlers. Jim and Greg explain why Khanna’s account is exaggerated and how this was an obvious political stunt.

Finally, they close with an update on former Sen. Ben Sasse’s ongoing battle with terminal pancreatic cancer. Jim and Greg praise his immense courage and resilience as he continues to defy his initial prognosis.
