The Six Shooter, “The Silver Buckle,” originally broadcast on NBC on January 17, 1954. Episode 18 of James Stewart’s Western series stars Stewart as drifting trouble-shooter Britt Ponset and was written by Frank Burt.
After two masked outlaws rob the Cheyenne train and make off with cash and a silver belt buckle, Britt joins the Springer brothers on the trail through a rugged mountain pass. Their account of the robbery soon gives him reason to watch the men—and the story—more closely.
