As Easter approaches, the church choir in the frontier town of Easter Creek hopes to acquire an organ for its service, but the congregation has little money to spare. Asked to help raise the needed funds, Britt finds himself drawn into an uneasy encounter with the man known as Red-Eye Kirk.
