Seeking shelter from a hard rain in Petersville, Britt becomes involved in the uneasy aftermath of Cora Plummer’s remarriage. Her son Calvin distrusts new stepfather Oliver Quincy and fears his interest in the Plummer ranch may not be entirely heartfelt. Written by Frank Burt and produced and directed by Jack Johnstone, this sustaining-run episode also features Virginia Gregg, Robert Griffin, and Parley Baer.
