Boston Blackie presents “The Masters Diamond,” episode 50, originally broadcast December 27, 1945. This installment of the Frederic W. Ziv syndicated detective series stars Richard Kollmar as Boston Blackie, with Maurice Tarplin as Inspector Faraday and Lesley Woods as Mary Wesley.
Blackie and Mary attend a fashionable dinner party at the Masters home when the family’s celebrated diamond disappears and a murder disrupts the evening. With Inspector Faraday investigating, Blackie must sort through the Masters family, their guests, and a pair of jewel thieves whose involvement may be more complicated than it first appears.
