Tanya Hedgard: From Corporate America to Indy Pup Bus

Dela

What happens when you’ve spent more than 20 years building a successful career and somewhere along the way, you begin to sense there’s something more?

In this conversation, I sit down with Tanya Hedgard, founder of Indy Pup Bus, to talk about the unexpected journey from corporate America to entrepreneurship and what happened when she finally trusted that inner calling.

Tanya shares how her lifelong love of animals became the foundation for a business built around far more than dog care. We talk about creating an experience-driven brand people feel emotionally connected to, growing from one bus to two, and the very different challenge of evolving from entrepreneur to leader.

We also get into the less tangible—and often more important—parts of building a business: trusting your intuition, allowing faith and integrity to guide difficult decisions, resisting the pressure to follow someone else’s definition of success, and protecting the culture and customer experience that made the brand special in the first place.

And as Indy Pup Bus continues to grow, Tanya is learning to give herself permission to dream beyond the business she originally set out to build.

This is a conversation about animals, entrepreneurship, faith, leadership, and the courage to listen when something inside you says: there’s more.
