THC and CBD may get most of the attention, but they’re only part of the cannabis story.

This week, I’m joined by Martina Meyner from Hale Farm, a certified-organic cannabis farm in Tasmania focused on exploring the wider spectrum of the plant.

We unpack minor cannabinoids in plain English, including why CBG is known as the “mother cannabinoid,” why non-intoxicating doesn’t mean inactive, and why patients may need to ask their prescribers directly about options beyond THC and CBD.

We also discuss:

  • Why the cannabis industry’s fixation on high-THC products can limit patient choice
  • The cultivation and genetic work involved in developing minor-cannabinoid varieties
  • What patients should ask about where and how their cannabis was grown
  • Why education must grow alongside access to new cannabinoid options
  • Hale Farm’s recent industry award and its focus on accessible, Australian-grown products
