The Movie (In Case You're One of Stephen’s People):Directed by John McTiernan, starring Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman, and based on the novel Nothing Lasts Forever, Die Hard follows NYPD officer John McClane as he tries to reconcile with his wife and instead ends up in a barefoot hostage situation led by Hans Gruber, a man so classy he could commit tax fraud and you’d still thank him.
McClane then proceeds to single-handedly ruin the terrorists’ meticulously planned Christmas party using only grit, sarcasm, a machine gun, and the worst pair of feet in cinema history.
