Who ya gonna call? Apparently Stephen… because the man somehow made it to adulthood without seeing Ghostbusters until NOW.
This week on Gen Wars, Nick, Cam, Katherine, and Stephen finally crack open the proton packs and dive headfirst into Ivan Reitman’s 1984 supernatural comedy classic starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, and Rick Moranis. This paranormal fever dream came straight from Dan Aykroyd’s ghost-obsessed brain and became one of the most iconic movies of the 1980s.
Three eccentric scientists lose their university jobs and decide the most logical next step is launching a ghost-catching business in New York City. Naturally, this leads to proton packs, demonic dogs, a haunted refrigerator from hell, and a 100-foot-tall marshmallow kaiju stomping through Manhattan while Bill Murray aggressively flirts his way through paranormal extinction. Totally normal stuff.
