Melissa Armstrong was convinced her new podcast might flop.
She wondered who would listen, whether anyone would care, and whether adding yet another content project to an already busy business made sense.
Then No Se Habla Taxes launched and generated around 150 downloads in its first week.
Melissa didn’t stumble into that launch. She spent the weeks leading up to it building anticipation, getting her network involved, preparing clips and promotional copy people could easily share, and treating the podcast launch more like a book launch than simply publishing another piece of content.
In this episode of My Podcast Story, Melissa shares how she designed a podcast that actually fits her life as a busy CPA and business owner. Instead of committing to hour-long interviews every week, she built short, practical solo episodes that can often be consumed in five to ten minutes.
