Uncle Wiggily and Little Bo-Peep is a short story that follows Uncle Wiggily Longears, a cheerful rabbit gentleman, on a simple errand to buy chocolate for Nurse Jane's cake. Along the way he discovers Little Bo-Peep in tears behind a bush — she has lost her sheep and is too afraid to return home to Mother Goose without them. With warmth and quick thinking, Uncle Wiggily comes up with a clever solution involving a nearby toy store, a handful of woolly toy sheep, and one very special lamb with a phonograph inside.
