"Mouse Perez, the Tooth Fairy" is a short fairy tale following six-year-old King Buby, who loses his first tooth and leaves it under his pillow for the legendary Mouse Perez. When the tiny, bespectacled mouse arrives, Buby is transformed and whisked through darkened streets — past the lurking cat Gaiferos — to deliver a gold coin to a poor boy named Gilito. Seeing Gilito's freezing attic room for the first time leaves Buby shaken, forcing him to confront a world of poverty his royal life had hidden from him entirely.
