Christmas in the Barn is a short story about young Johnny, who discovers that his parents accidentally bought two Christmas trees. Rather than let one go to waste, he hatches a secret plan: a barn Christmas tree for all his beloved animals. With bones for Rover, hay for the cow, carrots for Bunny, and milk for Kitty, Johnny carefully prepares each gift with genuine tenderness. The result is a wonderfully chaotic morning feast that leaves his parents and cook laughing — and every animal happily fed.
