I just got back from a 10-day trip where my sleep was TERRIBLE.
And even though I was still eating plenty… my body felt absolutely wrecked.
* My recovery sucked.
* My energy was low.
* My digestion was off.
* My body felt tight and sore.
* My workouts felt harder.
It was one of those experiences that reminded me just how much sleep affects literally everything.
Because sleep isn’t just about whether you feel tired the next day.
In this episode, I break down:
* How poor sleep affects training, performance, and recovery
* How sleep impacts when you’re body composition
* Why keeping a consistent sleep/wake schedule can make such a big difference
* The 3-2-1 sleep rule
* How your bedroom temperature can impact sleep quality
One of the biggest things my trip reminded me of is that you can be doing a LOT of things “right” with your nutrition and training…
But if your sleep sucks, eventually you’re going to feel it.
You don’t need another biohack before you’ve mastered the basics.
Don’t sleep on sleep. 😴
