The last eleven years have felt like an abusive relationship, built on chaos designed to keep everyone dysregulated and exhausted. There has to be a reckoning, not only for Trump and his administration, but for the billionaires, media companies, law firms, and universities that capitulated. Costco, which kept its DEI program, is the rare exception.
Trump's bargain with his voters is broken. The Iran war and tariffs have hit their gas tanks and grocery bills, his approval sits near record lows, and voters see a family cashing in. This isn't a blue wave. It's a red voter revolt, playing out in Texas, Florida, Alaska, Maine, Ohio, North Carolina, and Kansas.
Their red line turned out to be gas prices. Fine. Vote for Democrats up and down the ballot.
