Nolan Wellsā former friends Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour sat down with Fox Newsā Saturday in America for yet another interview.
At this point, Iām tired of hearing these interviews described as āexclusiveā when Warren, Jax, Morgan, and their attorneys have repeatedly appeared in the media to tell their side of the story. Nevertheless, I made a promise that whenever anyone from the opposing side speaks publicly about the Nolan Wells case, I will bring it to you, examine what was said, compare it with the information we already have, and challenge what I believe are false or misleading narratives.
During this interview, Warren, Jax, and Morgan discussed the grand jury, Benjamin Crump, their relationship with Nolan, and their claim that Nolan was like a brother and best friend to them.
They revisited July 4 and said they had to leave Horn Island around 4:30 because their boat was taking on water. They said Wyatt told Nolan that he needed to get on the boat, but according to their account, Nolan clearly said no and decided to remain on the island with a girl, saying he would get a ride back āwith her.ā Morgan said it was normal for people to go to the island with one group and return with someone else.
Jax discussed Nolan leaving his phone behind, while Warren talked about calling Christine around 11:00 p.m. and later contacting the Coast Guard. They also discussed learning that Nolanās body had been found on July 6.
Warren addressed criticism surrounding his emotions during interviews, saying he becomes defensive when cameras are in his face and that he cries when he is alone. Jax and Morgan both said they cried over losing Nolan.
The interview also touched on last weekās statements from digital forensic expert Andrew Garrett and the questions surrounding Nolanās phone, including Christineās earlier statements about information allegedly being deleted and what Garrett says his forensic examination ultimately showed. Weāre going to break that portion down carefully because the distinction between those claims is extremely important.
The conversation then returned to Benjamin Crump, the autopsy, and attorneys J. Tyler Cox and Edward Andrew Paltzik, who discussed the grand jury proceedings. They also addressed race, media coverage, threats directed toward the district attorney, and threats involving Judge Ashley Cole.
The interview concluded with Warren, Jax, and Morgan talking about how much they miss Nolan. Afterward, Fox News said it had reached out to Benjamin Crump, Christine, and Elmore for comment but had not heard back at the time of the report.
For me, much of this sounded like the same story we have heard repeatedly. In this episode, Iām going through the interview piece by piece, separating established facts from claims and allegations, highlighting inconsistencies, and challenging what I believe are false narratives.
Iām also going to address something that cannot be measured simply by documents or timelines: their presentation and emotion during these interviews. Iāll explain why their reactions continue to raise questions for me personally.
