Splash Stories hosts Ben Steadman & Diamond Dave celebrate Valentines Day 2026 with a special bonus podcast recorded with Fuzzbox Kollective's Maggie Dunne & MeMe Detroit of the trailblazing 80’s chart band We’ve Got a Fuzzbox and We’re Gonna Use It.

2026  sees the band celebrate forty years since being signed on only their second gig & bursting onto the music scene with their DIY punk-pop, their feisty & unapologetic energy and their classic global hit singles like International Rescue, Self & Pink Sunshine.

Check out FUZZBOX Kollective's new single - Ten Yard Stare fronted by new Kollective member vocalist Firouzeh who is also the new female vocalist from for the iconic Manchester band Happy Mondays and has worked with the Johnny Marr related Freak Party. 

Produced by Mike Bennett (The Blockheads) and Gary Watts  (Nature Of Wires) the track has commercial sensibilities whilst retaining the classic Fuzzbox rocky edge heard on tracks such as Rules And Regulations and Supernova.

Hats off to Maggie for her charitable efforts supporting Birmingham's hospice. Maggie has committed to auctioning off her stage costumes, jewellery and other items with funds going to the local Birmingham hospice so check Fuzzbox Kollective socials for more info on that.
