Being Pentecostal is not about adding experience on top of the Bible. It is about pursuing the biblical experience the Word of God already promises. The Holy Ghost is not denominational, and what He offers is not a trickle. We have come to a river of endless supply, and the demands of God on our lives cannot be met by moral discipline alone. It takes the enabling of the Holy Spirit.

The gifts have not ceased because the need has not ceased. People still require edification, exhortation, and comfort, and it is the Spirit who makes alive what no amount of human effort can sustain. The way we love the Lord is not youthful energy or religious routine. It is the work of the Spirit in us, and anyone who has truly encountered Him will never be satisfied with anything less than His continued work in their heart and their day.
