The Holy Spirit is not a supplement to the Christian life. He is central to it. He is the one who makes us alive to God, opening us up to receive, understand, and experience things that remain completely out of reach without Him. He takes the Scriptures off the page and makes them live inside us, and by that same Spirit, every believer is knit together into one Body, regardless of background, culture, or season of life.

Life in the Spirit is not a one-time event to look back on. It is a continual experience we are called to keep stepping into. Keep drinking. Keep walking. Keep growing. As hunger for God increases, so does the capacity to experience more of Him, and that hunger is itself a gift from the Spirit working in us to draw us deeper into the One we were made for.
