你喜歡自己現在住的地方嗎？🏠🌿
交通方便、生活機能好、鄰居又友善，當然住得很舒服；但如果房子老舊、地點不方便，還遇上吵鬧的鄰居，可能就會讓人萌生「搬家」的念頭！📦

當別人問你：

💬 Do you like the place where you live?
「你喜歡現在住的地方嗎？」

別只回答 Yes, I do. 或 No, I don't.，這一集一起學習如何從「地點、環境、噪音、鄰居」說出更完整的理由！

• Sure. I live in a good neighborhood, which is mainly residential and a good place to live. First, it is not far from the heart of the city, so I am pretty close to everything. Also, and most importantly, there is not much noise. My neighbors are very nice and friendly.

• Um ... not very much. No, I don’t really like the place I am living now, to be honest. First, the apartment is quite old, and the location is not very convenient. The worst thing is, my neighbors are inconsiderate and noisy. I plan to move out after the lease ends.

• Also, and most importantly, there is not much noise.
• There is not much to see.

👉 想表達「沒有太多……」，就可以使用 There is not much + 不可數名詞。

• The worst thing is, my neighbors are inconsiderate and noisy.
• The worst thing is, we can only stay one week.

👉 想強調一件事情中「最糟糕的是……」，就能用 The worst thing is … 帶出你最在意的問題。

2. mainly /ˈmeɪn.li/ (adv.) 主要地；大部分地
3. residential /ˌrez.əˈden.ʃəl/ (adj.) 住宅區的
4. close to /kloʊs tuː/ (prep.) 接近，靠近
5. to be honest /tə bi ˈɑː.nɪst/ (phr.) 說老實話
6. apartment /əˈpɑːrt.mənt/ (n.) 公寓
7. location /loʊˈkeɪ.ʃən/ (n.) 地點，位置
8. convenient /kənˈviː.ni.ənt/ (adj.) 方便的；便利的
9. inconsiderate /ˌɪn.kənˈsɪd.ɚ.ət/ (adj.) 不體貼的；不為他人著想的
10. lease /liːs/ (n.) 租約，租契

✔️ 用 There is not much + Noun 描述「沒有太多……」，例如 There is not much noise.

✔️ 用 The worst thing is … 帶出「最糟糕的是……」，讓口說回答更有層次。

✔️ 掌握 neighborhood、residential、location、convenient、lease 等居住生活常用字彙。

✔️ 學會從「優點＋缺點＋原因」回答問題，不再只停留在簡單的 Yes / No！
