Custom Health CEO Shane Bishop joined Steve Darling from to discuss early results from the company’s ongoing commercial program with BKC Pain Specialists & Regenerative Medicine Clinic in Ohio, highlighting how its integrated medication management model is supporting patients living with chronic pain.

The program brings together prescription fulfillment and pharmacy services, connected in-home medication management technology, and pharmacist-led clinical support to help patients manage their medications more consistently. By combining technology with ongoing engagement from clinical professionals, Custom Health aims to improve medication adherence and provide healthcare providers with greater visibility into patients’ medication-taking activity.

Bishop explained that Custom Health provides participating BKC patients with prescription fulfillment and pharmacy services through its Ohio operations, alongside technology designed to support medication management at home. The program also incorporates ongoing pharmacist-led clinical support, helping coordinate medication-related care with BKC’s treating physicians.

At the centre of the model is the company’s spencer® medication management technology, which captures medication-taking activity and facilitates personalized patient engagement. The platform is supported by AdhereNet®, which connects medication adherence insights with Custom Health’s clinical team to support medication management and coordination with healthcare providers.

According to internal company data covering the period from April 1, 2026, to the latest reporting point, patients participating in the initial program achieved approximately 94% medication adherence. The company also reported that its connected platform captured more than 7,400 patient survey responses, demonstrating the level of patient engagement supported by the program.

These early figures offer an initial indication of how Custom Health’s integrated approach is being applied in a real-world clinical setting. By capturing medication-taking activity and collecting patient feedback, the platform provides information that can help its clinical team support patients and coordinate with their treating physicians.

Custom Health also announced that it will ring the closing bell at the Toronto Stock Exchange on Thursday, marking a company milestone as it continues to develop its integrated medication management business.

On the corporate side, Custom Health has added two key members of the team, Mike Palackdharry has been appointed Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer, bringing more than 30 years of experience in commercial strategy, enterprise sales, business development, and strategic partnerships. The company also added Christina Garcia has been appointed Chief Compliance and Regulatory Officer, bringing more than 15 years of experience in compliance, privacy, and governance across highly regulated healthcare organizations.
