It's Kristian Harloff's birthday! Join us for a special Kristian Harloff Show birthday stream as we celebrate with the community, hang out, talk movies, take your questions, and break down some HUGE entertainment news!
And we've got plenty to talk about today.
Is Avengers: Secret Wars getting delayed? New reports claim production on Marvel Studios' massive Multiverse Saga finale may not begin until 2027, raising questions about whether the movie can still make its planned release date.
On today's birthday edition of The Kristian Harloff Show, we break down the latest Avengers: Secret Wars production news, what a potential delay could mean for Marvel Studios, and whether giving the Russo Brothers more time might actually be the best possible decision.
With Avengers: Doomsday setting the stage for Secret Wars and Marvel preparing one of the biggest superhero crossovers ever attempted, should Marvel rush to meet a release date — or take as much time as necessary to get Secret Wars right?
K-Pop: Demon Hunters 2 is also getting a major theatrical push, with the sequel reportedly heading to movie theaters before streaming. Is this another sign that streaming companies are realizing the value of theatrical releases?
Then there's potentially massive Hollywood news: the Paramount-Warner Bros. deal is reportedly set to close next week. After months of speculation, legal battles, and questions about the future of Warner Bros., Paramount, HBO and DC Studios, one of the biggest entertainment deals in years may finally be nearing completion.
We'll discuss what happens next and what the new company could mean for DC Studios, Warner Bros., Paramount, HBO, and some of Hollywood's biggest franchises.
Finally, we're taking a closer look at Warner Bros.' 2026 box office performance. What worked? What failed? And what lessons will the studio take into this new era?
Come hang out with Kristian and the crew as we talk Marvel, DC, Star Wars, movies, television, Hollywood, and whatever else comes up during the birthday stream. Bring your questions, join the conversation, and help us celebrate another year of The Kristian Harloff Show!
And yes, we're definitely debating whether Marvel should be worried about Avengers: Secret Wars. If production really isn't beginning until 2027, Marvel has a massive undertaking ahead of it. But after everything riding on Doomsday and Secret Wars, taking extra time may be exactly what the MCU needs.
Happy Birthday, Kristian! 🎂
