Fall is here and Halloween is right around the corner, and I couldn’t think of a better guest to have than Kenny Hickey of Silvertomb and Type O Negative, Sun Don’t Shine and Seventhvoid respectively.

Kenny and I talk about the unfortunate timing of Silvertomb's Edge of Existence being released just before the pandemic, having to redefine what success looks like when things are outside of your control. Kenny shares his path to sobriety and if there was ever any concerns about it possibly changing how it may affect his song writing or creativity.

We also reflect on the enduring legacy of Type O Negative, how October Rust has become synonymous with the fall season, and what it's like watching new generations discover the band long after its end.

Kenny and I get into the romanticization of the past, navigating loss, his longevity in the music industry, knowing when to persevere versus when to let something go, and what it means to leave behind a legacy that extends beyond the music, and much more!
