In this ScreenFish 1on1 Interview, director Ballard C. Boyd discusses JACKRABBIT and how his work on THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT influenced the film’s blend of comedy and mystery. Boyd explores the complicated relationship between George (Kuhoo Verma) and Avery (Taylor Ortega), who each believe they know a different side of Trish. He also examines whether loving someone means truly knowing them and the moral tension of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons.
JACKRABBIT is playing at the Heartland International Film Festival '26.
