NEWSROUND PART 1.
Dave Davis returns with another edition of Newsround, reacting to Jamie Carragher's bold assessment of Jeremy Jacquet and Virgil van Dijk following Liverpool's impressive defensive performances.
Carragher has suggested that Jacquet is becoming the first centre-back partner to look after Van Dijk rather than relying on the Liverpool captain to organise and protect the defence.
But Dave isn't convinced.
Having watched Liverpool's victory over Brighton from inside Anfield, Dave challenges Carragher's interpretation and insists Van Dijk remains the commanding presence organising Liverpool's back line.
There's no denying Jacquet's remarkable start to life at Liverpool. The 21-year-old has impressed with his pace, passing, physicality and defensive awareness, helping the Reds develop one of the Premier League's strongest defensive records.
Dave examines the statistics behind Jacquet's performances and explains why Liverpool may have found a truly exceptional young centre-back.
Ronald Araujo also receives praise for his leadership, with Trey Nyoni explaining how the defender's commitment has inspired Liverpool's players to fight for every ball.
Elsewhere, Dave looks ahead to Liverpool's Carabao Cup meeting with Chelsea, discusses Andoni Iraola's rotation dilemma and examines Florian Wirtz's improved performances without Dominik Szoboszlai.
Is Carragher getting carried away with his Jacquet assessment? Does Van Dijk still deserve more recognition? And have Liverpool finally built a defence capable of challenging for major honours?
All this and more on Newsround with Dave Davis for Anfield Index.
