MEDIA MATTERS PART 3.
Dave Davis is joined by Liverpool journalist Lewis Steele for the final part of Media Matters on Anfield Index, with Trent Alexander-Arnold's uncertain Real Madrid future and the possibility of an Anfield return taking centre stage.
After another frustrating appearance for Real Madrid, Trent's position in the Spanish capital is attracting increasing scrutiny. Jamie Carragher has suggested he would welcome the defender back to Liverpool, but would the Reds seriously consider a reunion?
Lewis discusses the obstacles to a potential move, including Trent's wages, any transfer fee and the reaction such a return could receive from Liverpool supporters. He also considers whether Andoni Iraola's desire for greater attacking creativity from right-back could leave the door slightly open.
Attention also turns to Liverpool's young players in Spain, with Harvey Elliott struggling for regular opportunities at Valencia while Ndokwe continues to impress during his loan spell at Levante.
Dave and Lewis assess what those contrasting situations could mean for Liverpool's squad planning, including Joe Gomez's future.
There's also discussion about Manchester United's ongoing difficulties and the importance of strong leadership within a football club.
Finally, Liverpool's upcoming Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea and crucial Premier League meeting with Arsenal dominate the conversation.
Should Iraola rotate heavily against Chelsea? Can Liverpool compete for silverware on multiple fronts? And would victory over Arsenal establish the Reds as genuine Premier League title contenders?
All this and more on Media Matters with Dave Davis and Lewis Steele.
