What if mindset was never supposed to do the whole job?
We are not just minds walking around having thoughts.
We have bodies. Emotions. Nervous systems. Histories. Lineages. Environments. And all of these are part of the equation.
In this first episode of Reclaiming the Body, we're exploring what becomes possible when we stop treating the mind as the only source of wisdom—and invite THE BODY back into the conversation.
We'll talk about why an emotion doesn't always need to be changed or reframed, why context matters when we talk about healing and nervous-system support, and what gets missed when coaching and somatic work treat individual experience as though it exists separately from important history, systems, and the world we're living in today.
This is also where I'll introduce you to decolonized somatics—and why some of the 'mainstream' spaces attempting to reconnect us with our bodies still operate through frameworks that center whiteness and erase important context.
This isn't about throwing mindset away. It's about making our approach whole.
Because maybe you don't always need another thought to think.
Instead, there's another part of you asking to be included in the conversation:
Your body.
