Surprise! We've dusted off our headphones for a very special bonus episode.
Our guest today is the incredible Gosia Piatek, founder of New Zealand clothing label Kowtow. Known for its beautifully considered designs and commitment to sustainability, Kowtow has become a leader in ethical fashion and environmental practices.
Gosia has one of the most interesting stories we've had the honour of hearing. From leaving Poland as a refugee and moving to New Zealand as a kid, where she brought egg paste sandwiches to school and hung salami behind the fridge, to raving and hitchhiking around the world in her early 20s, she's lived quite the life!
We chat about the beginnings of Kowtow, what it means to build a brand that sticks to its values and why Gosia is so proud of what she's created. We also get into living a quieter life in London, gardening (and compost!) and the importance of a weirdly named girls' group chat.
This episode is a breath of fresh air and a chance to get to know the woman behind the amazing brand. We absolutely loved chatting with Gosia and hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording it!

This podcast is recorded on the lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and that this always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
