The God of Glory

In this message, Pastor Kris explores Zechariah 2 and God's promise to be a wall of fire around Jerusalem and the glory in her midst. To a vulnerable community rebuilding after exile, God offers assurance that their future does not depend on walls, prosperity, or earthly success. Their security and glory are found in the presence of the Lord Himself, the God whose power and faithfulness never fade.

We are often tempted to seek glory through success, recognition, relationships, or the pleasures of this world. But these glories are fleeting, leaving us constantly chasing the next achievement or experience. When God Himself is our glory, we are freed to recognize His presence in the ordinary moments of life and to help others see it, too. The invitation is to stop chasing the fading glories of this world and discover the lasting joy of seeking the Lord and His glory alone.
