I Monitored the Overnight Sleep Study at a Foundation Medical Lab | SCP Encounter for Sleep

Dela

A polysomnography technician takes the overnight monitoring shift at a Foundation medical-research facility after the previous technician transfers to daytime work and describes the observation suite as "too still." On her fifth night, the one-way mirror stops showing the sleep chamber on the other side. The patient is still there — the data confirms it, the vitals are stable, the intercom carries the sound of breathing. But the glass now shows a different room, with a different bed, and someone she did not admit is sleeping in it. Each night the view shifts slightly, revealing more of a space that should not fit behind the wall. The Night Archivist presents the recovered monitoring log and one transfer note that reads: "I am no longer confident I know which side of the glass I am on."

This is a recovered Foundation encounter presented for slow nighttime listening. The narration is calm and unhurried across approximately one hundred minutes, with no jump scares, no sudden volume changes and no sounds designed to startle you awake. The full episode plays over a black screen so you can close your eyes and let the file continue without interruption.
