Gotham City Limit owner Ben Kingsbury is back on the podcast for a Batman-heavy episode celebrating Batman Day 2026!

Recorded live inside the shop, Ben breaks down why Absolute Batman continues to bring new readers into comic stores, whether classics like The Dark Knight Returns and The Long Halloween still hold up as essential Batman recommendations, and his personal favorite Batman stories.

Then we put his Dark Knight knowledge to the test with a round of Batman trivia, followed by a preview of the upcoming Tyler Kirkham signing experience. We also talk shop-exclusive variant covers, the business of comic collecting, indie publishers, and the current state of comics—including some of the good ideas coming out of Bad Idea Comics.

Ben also shares his picks for the best comics of 2026 so far, including Warbird, Ordained, Rook: Exodus, JSA and more
