For over fifteen years Natalie built her career on the business side of magazine publishing, first in Australia and then across Canada, before moving into communications work with small businesses and the public sector. She'd always been drawn to helping women in business, even when it wasn't officially her job. Then came a rental in Sydney she knew she'd eventually lose, a partner who said "what about Phuket?" and a decision to buy a house off the floor plan in a country she barely knew.
