Life on an isolated farm takes a disturbing turn when the hay bales scattered around the property begin moving on their own, shifting a little farther each night for no apparent reason. At first, the strange phenomenon seems like the work of pranksters. But when a gruesome act of violence follows an attempt to interfere, the farmer realizes someone—or something—is sending a message. As sleepless nights give way to terrifying discoveries in the darkness beyond the fields, an immense presence emerges from the surrounding woods with a purpose the farmer cannot begin to understand. And as the invisible boundary around the property slowly reveals itself, he comes to fear that he is no longer living on his farm... but inside someone else’s enclosure.
