Jeff Berardelli is the Chief Meteorologist and Climate Specialist at WFLA-TV (NBC) in Tampa, Florida, and a highly regarded national voice in climate communication. Over a 25-year broadcast career—which includes serving as a national meteorologist for CBS News—he has specialized in bridging the gap between daily local weather forecasting and the broader physics of global climate change. Berardelli holds a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Cornell University and an M.A. in Climate and Society from Columbia University, academic foundations he leverages to make complex environmental science accessible, visual, and highly engaging for the public through initiatives like "Jeff's Climate Classroom."

Leon Simons is a climate scientist based in the Netherlands. He was a co-author with James Hansen on the 2023 "Global Warming in the Pipeline" paper that discussed the recent acceleration in global warming. Leon's work has focused recently on changes in aerosol emissions from ships and the impact of those changes on climate change.
