🚨SAINTHOOD for Jesse Watters?! TPUSA Has Fully Lost It

If you want to know what an organization actually values, look at who
they choose to elevate—or, more specifically, the people they put on a
pedestal as moral exemplars. For Turning Point USA, that person now
appears to be Jesse Watters. They had Watters speak at TPUSA Faith this
past weekend, and now Andrew Kolvet, with Blake Neff chiming in, is
practically giving him a full coronation. Kolvet seems determined to
have Jesse Watters anointed as a saint in the TPUSA universe, going so
far as to frame Watters’ reaction to Charlie Kirk’s death as some kind
of profound spiritual awakening. Watters said that when Charlie was
shot, “something in me just” led him to want to learn more about Jesus
Christ, adding that “the whole country was awakened” and that people
wanted “to experience a reawakening.” But Kolvet’s retelling somehow
turned that into Watters having “yearned to learn more about Jesus
Christ.” He did not say “yearned.” And now TPUSA is busy building the
Jesse Watters canon in real time, complete with a carefully polished
origin story, while everyone is apparently very happy to focus on that
instead of asking why there was an Israeli flag hanging at TPUSA Faith
in the first place.
And, that's the LEAST weird part of this all.
