Josh says it once, plainly, and spends the episode earning it: he doesn't care whether a song was made with AI. He cares whether it's good and whether it belongs where it's being sent. This is a values episode, a position held for a long time and finally said in one place, with no platform rule behind it and no news hook.
The argument comes from the desk. Josh masters generated tracks and home recordings and studio cuts with the same first listen, the same checklist, and the same tools, and he walks through what a generated track's fingerprints actually are (mix and arrangement problems he has heard on human tracks too). Then the second test, genre fit, and why the questions "is it good" and "does it fit" come with standards attached while "is it AI" sends the conversation out of the room. He closes on what he does care about, decisions, finish, and honesty with collaborators, and on the stance itself.
