For Episode 60, I wanted to pause our study of 1 Enoch and simply share my heart.
When I started From Slumber to Scripture in December, I was waking up.
After spending much of my adult life asleep to God, the Bible, and Jesus, I started searching for truth. I questioned what I had been taught. I researched. I pulled back layer after layer—and that journey took me places I never expected.
But lately, God has been showing me something:
Waking up isn't just about discovering what's false. It's about finally living like Jesus is
true.
My life has changed dramatically since this podcast began. I've had to confront questions about
marriage, identity, rejection, motherhood, success, control, and what happens when the things
we've used to define ourselves suddenly change.
And I've found myself asking a much deeper question:
Who am I when the titles, relationships, accomplishments, and people I've depended on
to tell me who I am can no longer do it?
Maybe the greatest awakening isn't uncovering another conspiracy.
Maybe it's realizing Jesus was telling us the truth all along—and finally living like we believe Him.
That's where From Slumber to Scripture is going next.
We're still going to ask questions. We're still going to study Scripture. We're still going to seek truth.
But we're also going to talk about what it looks like to actually LIVE it—in our identity, marriages, parenting, relationships, struggles, and everyday lives.
