We continue 1 Enoch 101 with the Book of Parables (1 Enoch 37–71)—one of the most fascinating sections of 1 Enoch.
Enoch encounters the mysterious Son of Man, also called the Elect One, who is described as existing before creation, sitting on the throne of glory, judging kings and the mighty, bringing righteousness, and playing a central role in the final judgment.
We'll explore the three parables, the Lord of Spirits, resurrection, the new heaven and new earth, the judgment of the Watchers, and the incredible imagery surrounding the heavenly realm.
And as always, we're not pretending to have all the answers. We're reading, researching, comparing these ancient writings with Scripture, and asking questions together.
