What if waking up to the deception was only the beginning?

For the last year and a half, I've gone down the rabbit holes. Genesis 6. The Nephilim. 1 Enoch. Revelation. Eschatology. Satan's Little Season. Spiritual warfare. Hidden history. Deception.

I needed those questions.

I needed to seek truth.

But something has shifted in me.

Because eventually I had to ask a harder question:

If I believe we may be living in the last chapters of the biblical story… how does Jesus tell me to LIVE?

Jesus warned us about deception—but He also warned that the love of many would grow cold.

And that made me look inward.

Have I become more cynical? More suspicious? More fearful? More unforgiving? Have I become so focused on identifying darkness that I've forgotten Jesus called me to be the light?

This episode gets deeply personal as I share what God has done in my own life over the last seven weeks. My husband left. Divorce was filed. I had to face the possibility that my marriage was over.

And for the first time in my adult life, I walked through a devastating crisis with God.

I prayed. I fasted. I surrendered. I stopped trying to control the outcome.

And then something I couldn't manufacture began happening.

Repentance. Forgiveness. Counseling. Healing. Restoration.

We are now beginning what I can only describe as a new marriage built on a foundation of God.

But perhaps the greatest miracle wasn't only what God was doing around me.

It was what He was doing inside me.

In this episode, we're talking about:

• Truth seeking without allowing our hearts to grow cold
• Satan's Little Season and living faithfully regardless of where we are on the biblical timeline
• Why discernment and fear are not the same thing
• Forgiving people who have deeply hurt us
• Loving our enemies
• Surrendering control to God
• Looking in the mirror before picking up the microscope
• Becoming an apprentice of Jesus—not simply someone who knows about Him
• What marriage restoration has taught me about surrender
• How to become light in a world filled with darkness

And I'm challenging us to a 7-Day Wake-Up Challenge:

Before the news.
Before TikTok.
Before YouTube.
Before another podcast.
Before another rabbit hole.

Sit with Jesus.

Ask Him:

Where am I holding onto resentment?
Who do I need to forgive?
Where am I operating from fear instead of trust?
Who needs to experience Your love through me today?
What are You asking me to surrender?

I'm still going to ask hard questions. I'm still fascinated by the spiritual realm, Genesis 6, the Nephilim, eschatology and Satan's Little Season.

But From Slumber to Scripture is entering a new season.

I don't only want to know what Satan is doing. I want to know how Jesus told me to live.

I don't only want to expose darkness.

I want to become the light.

We're awake.

Now let's learn how to live like it.
